Description:

The person or persons who volunteer for this role will be called upon from time to time to set up a booth at volunteer fairs on behalf of Volunteer Kansas and man that booth for the duration of the event. While attending to the booth, the volunteer representative would be required to show fair participants the Volunteer Kansas website, encourage them to register as volunteers and promote the opportunities listed at www.volunteerkansas.org. They would also be responsible for tearing down the booth at the end of the fair.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age and computer literate.

Background check required.

Applicable for court-ordered community service hours (non-violent crimes only).
